Words cannot express how truly sorry I am that such an incredibly nice and kind man is no longer with us. He had so much to live for with a loving wife, the travels they had begun to enjoy and the other members of his family such as his daughter, stepsons, grandson, etc. I am very glad I was able to play a part in bringing Julie and Brad together, even if their time together was way too short!

Julie, so sad for your loss. I hope you can find comfort in the wonderful memories of Brad and what a great guy he was. I’m not sure who gave me this quote, but I always find it comforting when a loved one passes:

“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.” ~ Thomas Campbell from ‘Hallowed Ground’

My condolences to you and yours.

    Your neighbor,

    Pat Kiernan

This is a lovely tribute to Brad. Thank you for helping me, who did not know Brad personally, now get to know him. I know that your pain is deep and searing. I am so sorry. One of my favorite quotes, attributed to Native Americans, is, “The shedding of tears keeps the human heart moist and tender.” I honor your tears.

    Julie,
It’s hard to find the words that would make the sadness go away. I am filled with a heavy heart about his death because I know he was your true love.
Everytime I would see you at Einsteins,I would have a smile in my heart because I could actually see the special moments you were sharing.
I’m so happy you had this time together
to share common interests and just enjoy
each other….Thanks for sharing the incredible pictures of Brad’s life.

Brad, you will be deeply missed. We lost touch every once in awhile. But you were one of those life friends where once we talked time didn’t make a difference. We had so much fun and laughs together and I could talk to you about anything you where always there to listen and give advice. I will always Love and miss you my friend.
