Brian Paul Smith

January 15th, 1961 – February 22nd, 2024

Brian P. Smith of St. Ann, MO, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the age of 63.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Nancy Smith, and a sister, Karen Hoch.

Brian is survived by his dear partner, Vickie Vickers, his brothers, Ross (Joan) Smith, Bruce (Beth) Smith, his sister, Linda (Chuck) Hofmeister, brother-in-law to Terry Hoch, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Brian was employed at Schnucks for over 42 years and had many great work friends.  Brian was a dedicated employee and a member of UFCW Local 655.  He enjoyed helping customers who in turn, became friends with Brian.

Brian’s passion was fishing.  If there was a pond, lake or creek, Brian could be found trying to catch something.  Lake of the Ozarks, Lake Taneycomo, Busch Wildlife, Truman Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake and Tiemeyer Park were some of his favorite fishing holes.  He spent many hours with family and friends trying to catch the big one.  Some of our best memories are fishing trips with Brian.

Brian was a great person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
