Brian Winkler

In loving memory of Brian David Winkler, born on May 25, 1969, and peacefully passed away on August 31, 2023. Preceded in death by his father, David, he is survived by his cherished son, Will; his loving mother, Ruthie; and his devoted brothers, Andy (Farah, Colton, Ainsley) and Kevin (Kendra). Brian was loved by many relatives and friends around the country.

Brian had a passion for music, often strumming his guitar with friends, creating beautiful melodies that will resonate in our hearts forever. He also found solace in the serene world of fishing, where he could connect with nature and unwind in its beauty.

Brian’s inner child shone brightly whenever he spent time with his niece, Ainsley and nephew, Colton, their laughter and playful moments bringing him immense joy. He had a spirit for adventure, finding joy in the open road as he rode his beloved Harley-Davidson.

Brian’s warm heart, love for family, and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort and strength during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the National Kidney Foundation in his honor.

Brian was a great guy. I played music with him in the band Lost Souls in the 90s. He was a great player and a wonderful human. Godspeed my friend.
