Bruce Edward Carrell, 72, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He
was born to William and Agnes (née, DuHadway) Carrell on June 12,1951 in
East St. Louis, IL.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Janice; daughter, Heather (Dan) Brueggeman;
brother, Brian, and nephew, Justin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bruce had a passion for German Shepherd dogs, wolves, reading and military
history. In recent years, he developed an interest in hummingbirds and spent
hours watching them fly, feed, and challenge one another for the best spot at the
feeder.

Bruce is loved and will be missed by family, friends, and all the four-legged, furry
fuzz-butts in that circle.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to one of his favorite charities: The American Heart
Association, Toys for Tots, World Central Kitchen, or Serendipity German
Shepherd Dog Rescue, would be a wonderful tribute.
