Bruce Fredrick Boggs

Bruce Fredrick Boggs,

loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend died Thursday May 2, 2019. 

He was 59 years old.

He was born on July 7, 1959 in Middletown, Ohio; however, spent most of his life in St. Louis, Missouri.

He will be remembered by his generous heart and hilarious sense of humor.  He was the life of the party and a jack of all trades.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Melinda Boggs; two sons, Branden (21) and Bryan (17); mother, Glenda Boggs; stepmother, Wanda Boggs; siblings, Racine Leahy (Richard Leahy), Richard Boggs (Jeanine Boggs), Barbara O’Brien (Tim O’Brien), Robert Boggs (Sandra Boggs); step siblings, Rob Rechert (Ginny), Brad Rechert (Dwanna), Jennifer Crayne (Howard); uncle to 10 nieces and nephews and 20 grandnieces and grandnephews; and other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Boggs.


A memorial service will be held Saturday,

June 1, 2019 with visitation at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am

at the South Parish Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Cottleville, MO. 

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of one’s choice in lieu of flowers.

    My heart felt the joy watching his life a little bit,i missed so much with you all.The miles may have been far the years pasted by but i love you all just the same.We our blood my sorrow is the same wish i could be there sending my deepest condolences expecially to your mother,as i know no mother wants her children to go before them.
