Carl Henry Berry

Carl Henry Berry, Friday, February 5, 2021. Born March 2, 1939, to Carl and Dolores (nee Overkamp) Berry. Carl grew up in Affton, MO, graduated from SLUH, and then spent 4 years serving in the US Navy. After serving in the Navy he met his wife Janice (nee Kammer) and they spent over 50 years together before her passing in 2016.

Carl had a kind demeanor and great personality always had a smile and a good story to tell. He was an avid bowler all his adult life and is known by many as a great teammate and mentor at a variety of bowling alleys, including Shrewsbury Lanes, Concord Lanes, DuBowl Lanes, and Crestwood Bowl. He achieved many bowling awards that included a perfect 300 game when he was 70 years old. He is survived by his two sons, Phillip and Matthew, granddaughters Alexis and Alyssa, sisters Nancy Clark, Lynn Macke, and Kate (Austin) Granger, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
