Carl M. Wilson, Jr.
On February 2, 1966, Carl M. Wilson, Jr. was born to the union of Carl and Katie Wilson. His mother and father preceded him in death.
Carl was a student at Ford Elementary School and Central High School in St. Louis, MO. As he grew older and mastered his craft of carpentry and construction, his skills took him to San Diego, California. He resided in San Diego for many decades and acquired many friends. “Man”, as he was called, was a “Master Carpenter” as told by his grandmother. He worked for Nelson Group as a supervisor for years until his death.
Carl was always a strong, standup guy. He stood for what was right and had a great sense of humor. “Man” had a giving nature and would do anything for you, but not before giving you the sigh *hhmmm*
Carl “Man” leaves to cherish his memory his grandmothers Mrs. Donia Wilson and Mrs. Beatrice Bell. He also leaves his 3 children DaVone, Carl and Tyler, 2 grandchildren Symariea and Somaya, and 2 godsons Tark and Rashidi. His siblings Donna (William), Catrisha and Albert (Sarah). His siblings Demilo, Learl and Sherry preceded him in death. He also leaves his uncle Melvin Bell, 2 aunts Sheila and Judy Wilson, and a very special lifelong friend Charles Loper.
His loving memory will also be carried on by his 5 nieces, 2 nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, loved ones and friends.
“God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered ‘Come to Me’”
Such a sweet and wonderful man! I will miss him, his kindness, and big bear hugs. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. Rest well dear Carl.
