What a beautiful obituary. There’s no doubt that families and friends will miss her so much, but now we know that she’ is in a better place. No more pain and suffering that she fought for a long time. I am pretty sure she is looking down at everyone smiling looking sad but happy at the same time coz she’s with Him in heaven. May she Rest In Peace and May God bless everyone 🙏🙏🙏🙏

A beautiful lady inside and out. She was genuinely a sweet and caring friend. Carleen set the bar high with her strength and endurance battling her illness.
I know heaven is blessed to have you.
Love and hugs to her family.

In Loving Memory of Carleen…”The Little Ship” by an Unknown Author:

I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea. The setting sun tinted her white sails with a golden light and, as she disappeared from sight, a voice at my side whispered, “She is gone.”

But the sea was a narrow one. On the farther shore, a little band of friends and family had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation. Suddenly, they caught sight of the tiny sail and, at the very moment when my companion had whispered, “She is gone,” a glad shout went up in joyous welcome, “She is here!”

Big hugs and much love to such an incredible family! Carleen’s beautiful legacy will never be forgotten. Rest easy, Carleen. You were a good and faithful servant. You are dearly missed, and one day, we will meet again! You will remain forever in my heart!

When I was first diagnosed with lymphoma and Carleen found out she reached out to me. We had not been in contact for many years. She wanted to know about my situation and seem to know more about it than I did. I was was just down and depressed thinking the worst. Carleen told me about her situation and gave me some great advice, “ stay positive, never give up, “. She definitely changed my thinking and my attitude. God definitely was holding a place in heaven for her. RIP Carleen 🙏

Thank you, Carleen, for the gift of your friendship.
    Love you,
    Peggy
(She would always respond, “ love you more!”)

I knew Carleen as a young mom & taught Ricky & Sara at Notre Dame Preschool. She always brought her children into the room with this huge smile on her face & I still can see it to this day. Ricky & Sara, always know how much she adored you both & was always happy to help you in any way possible. Remember, she lives on in each of you. Mrs Maureen Schoenekase

So sorry for the Licari and Alvino families. Carleen was always so full of life and fun to be around. Being a friend of our family and one of my sister Connie’s best friends, we got to spend lots of time with her in the old neighborhood. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
