St. Louis Cremation

Casey Joseph Evers

Casey Joseph Evers, born June 20, 1983, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends who never left his side. A lifelong South St. Louis resident, Casey was known for his kind heart, sharp wit, musical talent, unwavering loyalty, and the deep love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him.

Casey was the beloved son of Dan Evers and the late Robin Evers. He was the cherished twin brother of Corey Evers and beloved little brother of Angela Siebum. He was a proud and loving uncle to Christopher and Cameron Siebum. Casey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarge and Millie, and leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family members who will forever hold his memory close.

A graduate of Visual and Performing Arts High School, Casey possessed a remarkable gift for music. An accomplished guitarist who played both lead and rhythm guitar, he performed in several bands throughout his life, including Black Collar Americans and Postcard. One of his most treasured experiences was traveling to Los Angeles with Postcard, a trip that fulfilled a lifelong dream and created memories he carried with him always. Music was not simply something Casey played—it was part of who he was. He especially loved Dave Matthews and found joy, comfort, and connection through music.

Casey was born and raised in South City, a place he proudly called home throughout his life. He worked for many years delivering pizza for IMO’s in South St. Louis, where he became known to many.

Outside of music, Casey enjoyed video games and was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. He spent several years playing with the Lemay Cork Ball Club, where he formed lasting friendships and found a brotherhood that became family.

Above all else, Casey was a devoted dog dad to Chase. Their bond was extraordinary—one built on unconditional love, companionship, and loyalty. They were inseparable, sharing a connection that those closest to them often described as a soulmate relationship. Casey lived for Chase, and Chase loved Casey without reservation. Though Chase recently passed before him, many find comfort in imagining their joyful reunion, together once again and never apart.

Family was the center of Casey’s life. He loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. His family provided him with comfort, support, and security, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He was also blessed with an incredible circle of friends who remained steadfast through every season of life. In the days surrounding his passing, friends gathered to share stories of Casey’s legendary sense of humor, quick wit, and the countless moments that made him unforgettable.

Casey leaves behind a legacy of music, laughter, friendship, loyalty, and love. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his spirit will live on in every guitar riff, every Cardinals game, every shared joke among friends, and every memory held by those who loved him.

He will be missed beyond words and remembered always.

A Celebration of Life honoring Casey will be held on Saturday, August 22, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Dubliner Room at Helen Fitzgerald’s. Family, friends, bandmates, teammates, and all who knew and loved Casey are invited to gather to share memories, stories, laughter, and music as they celebrate the life of a guy who meant so much to so many.
