Catherine Colette Jaech
Catherine Colette Jaech, age 93, crossed over from this life on Tuesday December 3rd at Mount Carmel Senior Living in St. Charles Missouri. She was born on October 3rd, 1920 in Litchfield, Illinois to the late Catherine Hughes Burns and Joseph Burns.
Colette spent the majority of her life in St. Louis, graduating from Rosati Kain High School in 1938 and attending Harris Stowe Teachers College. Her career path led her to accounting and office management. She continued her career until her mid-80’s as she ‘loved numbers’.
Her greatest joys in life were her family. Nothing made her happier than Sunday roast beef dinner at ‘Grannie’s’ followed by cards or Monopoly.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jacqueline and her partner Jerry; her beloved grandsons and their spouses Jeffrey Berger and Lisa Huelsman Berger; Brian Berger and Matthew Jacobson; the joy in her heart, her great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Brendan, and Sydney Berger. Her boy Louie the cat now is in residence with Jacqueline.

A memorial celebration of her life is planned for late December.
