Louise was one of nine daughters of the late Roscoe and Mae Battreal in Old Mines, MO. Her sister Florence Rita passed January 2, 2013. Her surviving sisters are Mary Alice, Ruth, Ann, Diane, Linda, Doris and Darlene, and brother Jeff.

Louise (born in Old Mines, MO) and husband (the late Larry James Riddle from Potosi) moved to St. Louis, MO and raised their family there. Their home was constantly filled with love, laughter, family, friends, and pets.

Louise retired after 37 years from SSM Hospital, and upon retirement, worked part time performing Home Health Care and many volunteer projects including Meals on Wheels, Active group for disabled adults, and other events. On April 2013, she suffered a brain aneurysm and upon her recovery, she continued to spend her time volunteering at various church functions. She was very blessed with many wonderful friends and her extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her husband Larry’s family. We love you Mom and will always think about you and your generous spirit. Thank you for giving me the tools I needed to succeed, and thank you for the love you shared with our family, and 3 grand sons. And thank you for the wacky sense of humor, dancing at Casa Loma, and many other fun memories. There’s so much to be thankful for, so just know that we love you and will miss you tremendously!
