I sat across from Chuck in Bldg 270 for many years while on the F-18. I truly enjoyed working with Chuck and his dry sense of humor. I was one of the “young” guys that Chuck and Larry Nale would impart their many years of wisdom to. Chuck was unique and was well respected by all who worked with him including the customer and suppliers. He will be missed by all who knew him.

I was fortunate to have an opportunity to work with Chuck on F18 Mod Valve upgrade. Occasionally Chuck came out to our California facility to witness testing and attended design reviews. This was where I met Chuck and got to know him. He was an excellent engineer. You could not give him sloppy answers. He would nail you! I learned many things from him. One of the most valuable wisdom he shared with me was when I asked Chuck how his children turn out to be so great. He said: “Do everything together as a family.” Thank you for all your wisdom and support.
