Charles K. McKenzie

Charles K. “Chuck” McKenzie, 73, passed away peacefully on Fri, July 5th, 2019. He was born November 3, 1945 in Little Rock, AR to Howard K. and Scotty L. McKenzie.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Pressy-McKenzie; his children: Casey (Bob}, Scott, Carrie(Terrell), Chad, Cathy(Robyn), eight grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; step-children, Jan(Ron), Barb(Doyle}, Dave(Jen) & 6 step-grandchildren.

Chuck was an Alumnus of Memphis State University, having had a long career in Music Education, a Graduate of Metropolitan St Louis Police Academy, beginning his Police career in 1973. He was a member of Masonic Overland-Occidental Lodge #623, a member of Moolah Shriners since 1989, serving as Band Director for a number of years and a member of Moolah Drum & Bugle Corps. He was “Proud to be a Shriner”. He had been a member of Main Street Jazz Band & Big Band.

He donated his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.

There will be a Memorial service and celebration of Life on Sunday, July 21st , 2pm to 5pm. Masonic service, Prayer service & Eulogies at 3pm. Moolah Shrine Center 12545 Fee Fee Rd.Maryland Heights, MO 63146
