November 30, 1953 –  April 4, 2025              .

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline A. and Charles E. McGrew.  He leaves behind his loving wife, Marcia daughter Christy (Todd), and two grandchildren, Marley and KC.  Left to cherish his memory are his five sisters, several brothers- and sister-in-law, cousins, numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.

Chuck served in the Army for two years.  He was a career postal employee for more than 35 years before moving from his home to the St Louis area to be close to his daughter and grandkids. He was always athletic. In later years he began running.  He competed  in more than 60 organized races, including a full marathon and seven half marathons.  He worked in the cafeteria at St. Joseph school in Cottleville for the past 15 years, a job he said was the  best he ever had.  He loved the staff, students,  and especially his co-workers.

Funeral services will be held at All Saints  Church in St. Peters, MO on  April 12, 2025, at 10:00 am.

The family wishes to thank everyone who supported Chuck in his two-year battle  with cancer.  He fought so hard and was always optimistic.  In lieu of flowers,  please consider a donation to the All Saints Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
