Charles Davon Payne passed away on Jan. 1, 2026. Charles was born on June 29, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles Avon and Kay Payne.

He is survived by his mother Kay, significant other Keri Pratt, ex-wife Cindee Payne and his 4 sons: Josef Zitko, Corey Payne, Shawn Payne, and Brandon Payne. He has one brother, Carl Payne, along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. We also need to mention his partner-in-crime, William Reis, who was with him through thick and thin in life.

Charles was a truck driver, handy man, hunter and fisherman. He loved using his talents to build and restore things.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles.

He will be missed by all.
