Charles Ray Wierhake

Charles Ray Wierhake, born March 18, 1931 passed away at the age of 86 on November 17, 2017 after a short illness with pneumonia.

“Charlie” served during the Korean war and in the Army Reserves. He worked for Mc Donnell Douglas for 41 years. He has had a long-time interest in cars, air craft, and mechanics.

He is preceded in death by his son Dan Wierhake. He has left behind his other children: Elizabeth Seliga, Virginia DeBattista, and Mark Wierhake. He also has five grandchildren: Lauren Seliga, Madeline Seliga, Andrew DeBattista, Nicholas DeBattista, and Michael DeBattista.

He has given his body to science and will later be interred at Jefferson Barracks.

There will be a celebration of his life on his birthday March 18, 2018.
