It is with great sadness that the family of Charley Franklin Key Jr announces his passing on September 13, 2026 at the age of 66 in St. Louis, MO.

He was born on July 10, 1960, in St .Louis, MO to Charley Franklin Key Sr. and Anna Lee Key nee Myers.

He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, a dedicated and hardworking Postal Worker with over 34 years of service, a coach, mentor, and a friend to all. He was also the front man for the legendary Local Rejects.

He is survived by children Maggie (Matt), Mike, Matt (Taylor), and Mia. He is also the dear grandfather of Hudson, Graeme, Rose, and Calvin. Dear brother of Georgia (Richard) and Jane. Loving uncle, cousin, and friend.

A visitation and memorial will be held at St. Louis Cremation 320 Jungermann Rd. St. Peters, MO 63376 on September 26th, from 11-3.

A Celebration of Life will be held at VFW Post 3944, 10815 Midland Blvd St. Louis, MO 63114 on September 27th at 1pm.
