Cherie C. Venegas (nee Sabourin) lost her battle with lung cancer on July 22, 2016. She was born March 30, 1968, to Mary (nee Potts) and Walter R. Sabourin. Cherie attended St. Charles High School. She loved cooking and was employed at Grappa Grill, St. Louis Bread Company, and McAlister’s Deli. Cherie is survived by her Five children: Mackenzie R Sabourin Sr., Nicole M Grider, Duval C Venegas, Atzin S Venegas, and Sydney W Venegas;estranged husband, Cipriano Venegas-Sosa; her mother, Mary Sabourin; Three sisters: Dawn Renee Hibbeler, Lea A. Martinez, and Sabrina F. Escalante; Three grandchildren: Mackenzie, Noah, and Lily; an uncle, Don Potts, an aunt, Elsie Gravemann; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cherie was preceded in death by her father, Walter, niece Tiffany J. Sabourin and several aunts and uncles. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
