Cheryl Harrison
Cheryl Hungerford Harrison passed away in St. Louis, Missouri on June 18, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of over thirty years, Howard William Harrison, also of St. Louis. Cheryl was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S R Hungerford III (Buddy & Freddie) of Tunica, Mississippi. She graduated from Hutchison School / Memphis, Tennessee, attended Mary Baldwin College / Staunton, Virginia and graduated from Memphis State University / Memphis, Tennessee. She was an employee of Western Construction Group in St. Louis for over twenty one years and retired in 2019.
She is survived by her son Henry Beneke IV of Tennessee and two brothers, Gerry (Melia) Loew of Arizona and Ty Power of California. Also a stepson, Jason Harrison; three Grandchildren, Lindsay Harrison Lewis (Hunter), Lauren Harrison Balch, and Logan (Sarah) Harrison, and five Great-Grandchildren, all of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was cremated and her remains were interred next to Howard at the Lebanon Church of Christ, Dresden, TN.
Cheryl was my best friend the years we both lived in Tunica. I would call her from time to time, but had no idea it was the last time. She would call & say “meet me in the middle.” We would meet near the school and decide where to ride our bikes. My sympathy to her family.
