Chester L. Thomas

Chester L. Thomas (Butter Ball) passed away on April 5, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1955 in St. Louis, Mo to the John G. and Gladys I. Thomas. He was a loving husband to Theresa A. Thomas (nee Ryan) and a proud father of the Ryan M. Thomas.

He is preceeded in death by his parents, John G. Thomas, Gladys I. Thomas; son, Ryan M. Thomas, Brothers, Robert Thomas, Ronald (Brenda) Thomas, and sister, Anna Borden.

Chester is survived by his loving wife, Theresa A. Thomas; Siblings, Donald (Gayle) Thomas, Karen (Doug) Little, John G. (Jo Ann) Thomas  Jr., Marie (James) Jauernig, Jim Bo (Bonnie) Thomas, and Dottie May (Mitch) Bradshaw.

Chester is also a beloved uncle, Great Uncle, and brother-in-law.

Chester was a member of the Teamsters Union and United Steel Workers Union.

Service will be at St. Louis Cremation (2135 Chouteau Ave St. Louis, MO 63103) on Saturday, May 3rd from 11AM to 2PM.

In Lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to St. Jude  American Cancer Society or your donation of choice

    Chester-You were a wonderful brother (most of the time LOL). We are definitely going to miss you and your sense of humor. You were a good friend to many that we had grown up with. RIP little brother.
