On December 15, 2022 fortified with the Holy Spirit, Christine Brown of St. Louis passed away peacefully of heart failure. Christine was born in St. Louis on August 21, 1946. She was predeceased in death by her parents, Louis and Ann (nee Loman) Anastasoff and brother James Anastasoff.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband John (Jack) Ellman, sister Jeanette (Thomas) Brown, niece Amy Brown, nephew Eric Brown and great niece Claire Brown.

Christine worked at Washington University Dental School for many years before retiring for health reasons. She delighted in cooking and entertaining for family and friends. Christine was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau, St. Louis, MO 63103. The memorial service will follow at 1 p.m.
