Christine Limpert

Christine “Chris” Limpert, age 72, of Festus, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on December 30, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, Chris was a woman who found her greatest joy in being surrounded by the people she loved.

Chris and her husband, Jerry, shared 52 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. Family and friends meant everything to her; she was the person you could always count on to show up, cheer you on, and support you through every moment in life. The ultimate planner behind family celebrations, Chris made sure everyone was taken care of and no detail was forgotten.

She had a heart that was always thinking of others. If you needed something, chances were she already had it—and probably had at least three of them just in case. She found happiness in the simple things: sitting on the back porch watching hummingbirds, tending to her flowers, painting, and enjoying shopping trips. Above all, her most treasured moments were spent making memories with her grandchildren.

Chris had a special way of bringing people together and making sure those around her knew they mattered. Her thoughtfulness, dedication to her family, and unwavering support leave behind a legacy of love that will never be forgotten.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Nelma Mills, along with several dear family members and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Jerry Limpert; her children and their families:

Cory (Danielle) Limpert and grandchildren Gracen, Maelyn, and Declan

Christina (Brian) Wilson and grandchildren Raegan and Macie

Jerry Jr. (Laura) Newcom and grandchildren Laken, Lexie, Heath, Saydee, Julian, Zaydence, Cohen, and Hayzn

Chris was a dear friend, a true “one of a kind”. If you ever needed anything, she was there to support you with words and deeds. Her kindness and sense of humor will be missed by so many whose lives she touched. I feel privileged to have had her in my life for so many years and will miss her terribly. I know she is spreading love and laughter in heaven, just as she did here on earth.
Her wings were ready, our hearts were not💔
