Christopher Jason Wannstedt

Christopher Jason Wannstedt passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the young age of 46 years old, after a long battle with heart disease.  Jason is survived by his two sons, Jaydon and Roman, his father, William Wannstedt, his mother, Carla Leeson, his step-mother, Debra Wannstedt, two sisters, Cassandra Wannstedt, and Elizabeth Knox (Michael), and his wife, Tiffany.  He is also survived by nieces Alexandra Lawson, Charlotte Knox, and nephew William Knox.

Jason was the owner of Lawnshark, a landscape and construction labor company in O’Fallon MO.  He was an avid golfer, sports fan and dedicated father.  He left behind many friends and customers who will miss his magnetic personality, and his playful, kind nature.  He lived his short life to the fullest.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association or the Make- A-Wish Foundation.

A Celebration of his life is being planned for December 4, 2021.

As one of the nurses who saw jason almost every week over the last several years, my heart hurts for all of his family and friends… us included. Jason was always positive, friendly, we all knew of his family’s goings on and he knew ours. He will forever be remembered by his IR Team.
Thoughts and prayers to you all,
    Chris,
    Mercy IR RN

My prayers and thoughts go out to Jason’s family. I met Jason about 20 years ago, he was my husbands best friend, they reconnected when Jason moved to Florida. I had the privilege of getting to know him and his wife Tiffany and got the joy of seeing him and Tiffany become parents to their two sons. We spent weekends, holidays and vacations with Jason and his family and he will be missed. Unfortunately I will on the West Coast the week of Jason’s memorial and I am very sad that I will not be able to be there to pay my respects.
