Christopher Robert Light, 52, of Fenton died Saturday, September 13, 2025. Born November 15, 1972 in Ironton, he was the son of Robert (fiancée Cyndy) Light of Arkansas and Dee (Rob) Gordon of Park Hills, MO. 

Chris is also survived by his wife, Dawn, three “bonus” daughters, Nicole Hull, Julie Hull-Cornman, Megan (August) Frankenreiter, and his “bonus” grandsons, Andrew Cornman, Caden Cornman, Elliot Frankenreiter, and Wyatt Frankenreiter. 

In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Tiffany McFadden, Amy (Berry) Price, Angela (fiancé Lee Campbell) Garrett, and Emmaly (Mauchella) Bates. Also, survived by his aunt, Debbie (Tom) Trueman, his uncle, Gene (Dana) Light, Jr., cousins, and friends. Last but not least, Chris is survived by his cat, Ollie. 

Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gene and Juanita Light, Sr., his maternal grandmother, Peggy Lee Boardman, uncles Carlton “Bub” Rariden, Eric (Lisa, who survives) Light, and Paul (the late Faith) Light. 

Chris loved spending time with family and fishing, but he was most clearly in his element when he was racing RC cars. 

At Chris’ request, there will be no formal services; however, the St. Louis Dirt Burners will be hosting the Chris Light Memorial Race on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
