Christy Lynn (McCoy) Wells, beloved wife, mother, grandma, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2023. She was 69 years old.

Christy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth (Rod); her loving daughters Erin Ross and Leah (Lou) Bailey; her grandchildren Annie, Eliot, Dennis, and Philip; her mother Jean McCoy; and siblings Steve McCoy and Kelly Denton. 

Christy lived a full and meaningful life. She retired in 2020 as a Physical Therapist, where she had a special passion for her work and deeply cared for her patients and colleagues. Christy was a true friend to anyone who needed one, always offering a listening ear, kind words, and unwavering support. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and her unwavering commitment to justice and fairness.

Christy’s passing has left a void in our hearts, but her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of a service, she requested a park bench at Veterans Tribute Park so fellow dog walkers would have a spot to sit and relax. We will give an update when this is ready for dedication.
