Clifford Albert Bachman

Capture

Clifford Albert Bachman, 1/8/58 – 4/30/16, age 58, of Saint Louis, Missouri, went home to be with his Savior after a sudden heart attack.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife, Beth Appelbaum Bachman; his adoring children, Blake (Jack) McGowan, Paul (Katie), Ellie (Andy) Clemens, & James; his grandson, Henry McGowan; his 91-year-old mother, Shirley; and brother, David (David). He is preceded in death by his father, Verman.

Cliff was a deeply loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.

Cliff attended Lindbergh High School (class of 1976) and graduated with an Information Technology degree from Webster University.

Cliff enjoyed grilling (rain or shine!), family vacations, and a good household repair challenge. Cliff’s love for Christ was evident, as he always sought to serve and love those around him well. As a cancer survivor, one of Cliff’s greatest passions in life was coming alongside and giving hope to cancer patients.

Cliff faithfully gave of himself – his time, his wisdom, his humor, and ultimately, the gift of life, as a tissue donor.

His service will be held at The Journey – Tower Grove (2833 S Kingshighway Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63139) on Friday, May 6th, 2016. The visitation will be at 9:30am and the service begins at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the Cliff Bachman Memorial Fund has been created to help with expenses. You can find more information here: www.youcaring.com/cliffbachman

    Dear Beth, Shirley and family,

I was completely shocked and so sad to see Cliff’s obituary in the W-G Times this evening. He was such a good, good man: a loving son, husband and father who loved you all more than his own life. Most importantly, he loved Christ first and foremost.

I know you will miss him every day for the rest of your lives. I will be praying for each of you and asking the Lord to comfort you with the truth Cliff is more alive than he has ever been and you will see his gentle face again.

With love for your all, Michelle Kraft

Our sincere sympathy and condolences at your loss. Cliff was a wonderful man and faithful Christian who shared his love everyday in so many small ways. May the memories you keep bring you comfort at this most difficult time, and may the hope you share in the resurrection bring you peace now and in the future. We loved Cliff, too.

Dear BETH, Mrs. B and ALL,
Please know of my prayerful sympathy on CLIFF’s untimely passing. I always enjoyed seeing you and Cliff (whether downtown or elsewhere) and reminiscing about LHS, South County, or life generally. His untimely passing caught us all by surprise–especially since he was so full of life himself.

Know of our prayerful remembrance of CLIFF and all of you at this challenging time! He will be remembered at LHS’ upcoming 40th Class Reunion (1976), along with our other deceased classmates. May CLIFF enjoy eternal rest with Our Lord in Heaven–and may all of you have consolation in this assurance.

    Sincerely,
    Max Kaiser, Jr.
    LHS alum and C-A-B Friend
