Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews, dear cousin and friend.
Ray served in the US Army from 1973 – 1977 when he received an honorable discharge.
He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed baseball, coaching his kids ball teams, reading, hunting, fishing and being outdoors and listening to music.
Ray’s wishes were to have a private ceremony with his children.
My prayers and heart felt condolences to his family and friends. You will see him again.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ray’s beautiful children and grandchildren, family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts.
I’ll always remember Ray’s giving heart and the love he had for his kids. Our sympathy to his sibblings, such a great lost.
We love you kids, Aunt Sis & Uncle Rick
I loved him very much, actually my last words to him were I love you. I will miss you Ray.
I love you…forever
To one of the greatest guys I’ve ever met. He always had words of wisdom for me & taught me something new every time we talked. Very smart man & will be truly missed. I miss his smile & funny sense of humor. I think of him all the time…so sorry for the family’s loss, he really wished they were around more 🙁
I’m sorry for your loss. Out of nowhere today Clyde’s name came into my mind.
I grew up in the same neighborhood as your father in North St. Louis on Warne Ave. I’m 63 now and I vividly remember him being able to do ‘backflip’ and other incredible things. I was amazed at what he could do. Cherish the memories of your dad. I myself have coached kids my whole life. Nice to see that he did too!
i worked with Ray downtown in the main post office st louis mo and also played softball against him in the tues morning double header league at forest park i admired him tremendously as a coworker and opponent as a softball player he had a rocket arm and would do anything for you as a coworker. loved ray ived missed him for a long time
