CONNIE LEE FRANKEN

(NEE Arnold), 69, past into the hands of God at Mercy Medical Center on Friday December 23, 2016.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Peggy Arnold on July 29, 1947. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Floyd J. and Frank Jr. Arnold. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Robert F. Franken of Weldon Spring, Mo.; her one surviving brother Dr. Paul J. Arnold of Coral Gables FL; her Stepfather Thomas Koulan of O’fallon, MO; her Daughter Frankie A. (NEE Whobrey) (James) Meier; her Grandchildren Hayden, Mitchell, and Olivia Meier of Clarkson Valley MO; and Special Grandson Michael A. Evans of Springfield, MO. She was our beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Nana, Aunt, Great Aunt, Cousin, Sister-in-law, and friend to anyone.

She loved her family with all her heart. She enjoyed traveling with her Husband. She worked as a Cake Decorator in St. Louis, Mo for many years and retired from the Baker’s Union. She was a Life Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She would offer a helping hand to any in need. Her presence will be truly missed.

A “Life Celebration” will be held at a future date to reminisce our dear Connie. She will be entombed at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill, MO. The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association.

    My deepest condolences to the Franken family and friends. May the God who gives peace be with all of you. And always remember his wonderful promise in Acts 24:15 ” And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection…”
