CRAIG ALAN STOVALL
February 28, 1970 – November 21, 2013
Craig Alan Stovall, 43, of Ballwin, MO went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 21, 2013, after a hard fought and courageous 45 month battle with brain cancer.
Craig was a graduate of Wentzville High School, class of 1988. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Louis University/Parks College with a degree in Aviation Science/Professional Piloting. Craig received his masters’ degree in Aviation Safety from Central Missouri State University.
His passion for aviation led him to work for TWA, Jet Blue and Alaska Airlines. Craig was so happy flying, and we take comfort in knowing he now flies with the angels. The role he loved the most was being a father, serving as an assistant Boy Scout leader for Troop 786.
A firm believer in helping others and giving back, Craig chose to donate his organs and tissues. His donation gave the gift of sight to two people and tissue donations went to the Shriners Children’s Burn Center and the Department of Veteran Affairs Burn Center, among others.
Craig is survived by his wife and love of his life, Jessica, his son Evan, daughter Emma, and his cat and trusty side kick, Jack-Jack. He is also survived by his in-laws, John and Gay Meakim of Manchester, MO. LYMY Always.
