Craig Steward passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 10th, 2021 at the age of 64. Fighting a courageous battle against Lyposarcoma & Spindle Cell Carcinoma for two years, Craig stayed strong until the end.

Craig leaves behind the love of his life, his wife Cheryl Steward (nee Nicolas), a daughter Crystal (Eric Fodge) and grandchildren Kaylee and Beckett (his favorite people in the world). He was an adored husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents Bobbie and Mary Steward, along with a brother Baby Steward.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Craig graduated from Hancock High School. Craig was a proud member of Teamsters Local 682 for 34 years. For 29 years he drove a concrete truck for Five Star Concrete and poured concrete for many St. Louis attractions including Busch Stadium.

Craig was a family man with a loving wife and daughter. He took every opportunity to spend time with his two grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them until his heart was content. Known to cook a mean chili, Craig showed his love to others through his cooking. Often referred to as the Silver Fox, he enjoyed playing pranks on friends and family, repairing and selling old tools and his lotto tickets.

Per his request there is no service but funeral arrangements were taken care of by St. Louis Cremation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mercy Hospice Care or American Cancer Society.
