Cynthia Ann Livingston

Cynthia Ann Livingston, 58 years of age, of Aldrich, Missouri, passed away on March 23, 2019, in St. Louis, MO, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 21, 1961, in Cherry Point, North Carolina, to Ronald and Lynda (Whitlock) Garland. Cynthia was united in marriage on July 13, 2017, to Martin Livingston.

She proudly served her country in the United States Army. Cynthia was a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders, providing honorable and respectful services for fallen American heroes who have served in the military and/or as first responders. Cynthia worked in human resources in the medical field. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, as well as traveling, especially by motorcycle with her husband.

Cynthia is survived by her parents, Ronald and Lynda; her beloved husband, Marty; two sons: Dr. Shawn Stranckmeyer and Christopher Stranckmeyer; step-daughter: Ashley Livingston; six grandchildren; four sisters: Leesa, Kimberly, Jodi, and Sheena; host of nieces and nephews; and her Patriot Guard Rider family.

A memorial visitation and reception will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, 2001 West Walnut Lawn Street, Springfield, MO. A memorial service and a final salute by the Patriot Guard Riders will follow at 12:30 PM. Cynthia will be escorted by her Patriot Guard Rider family to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO, where she will receive full military honors and be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Cynthia’s memory may be made to the Hope Lodge in St Louis, MO, a place of respite as Cynthia was receiving treatment for cancer, or to the American Cancer Society.
