Dale H. Heise

Dale H. Heise, age 75, of St. Louis, Mo., passed away on Monday, August 10,
2020 at home.
He was the beloved husband of Joan (nee Dailey), for 47 years and a loving
father to Gregory, Jason (Tiffany), Michelle (Richard). He was grandfather to
Audrey and Julia and dear brother-in-law and uncle. He was also “Dad” to 5 special family members.
Dale was born May 6, 1945 in Belleville, Illinois to Fred and Martha Heise.
He graduated from Wellston High School in l964.
In 1965, Dale went to work at Ford Motor Company, where his love of Fords
began. He retired 31 years later.
He loved many kinds of auto racing. He was thrilled when he was able to go to
the Indianapolis 500 and special trip to the Daytona 500.
In June of 2006, he got a special treat by taking a flight on a B-17 named the
Sentimental Journey. It was a dream come true for him.
Dale became a Master Mason at Florissant Lodge #668 and was Worshipful
Master in 1996. He joined Scottish Rite and became a member of Moolah
Temple Shrine in 1991. He was most proud of being in the marching unit
called the Arab Patrol, where he had many great friends. He enjoyed being in
parades, competitions and especially the many circuses, as he participated in
every one since he joined the unit. He was Unit President in 2003 and had
recently become a Potentate’s Aide. The hospital was very special to him and
he loved supporting it.
Dale was also able to take 2 trips to New Zealand to see his daughter and the
country. He loved being there.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
