Dale Thomas Vollmer
Vollmer, Dale Thomas passed away at the age of 73 in St. Louis, MO. on July 17, 2012. Dale also known as Butch was a devoted friend, avid reader, and sports enthusiast who loved football and horse racing. Born December 2, 1938 to Edward Sr. and Flora J. Vollmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Edward Charles and sister-in-law Millie Vollmer. He is survived by his 3 children: son Rick Vollmer, son Bart Vollmer and his wife Kerri, daughter Julie Vaughn and her husband David; his 6 grandchildren: McRae Vollmer, Caroline Vollmer, Tyler Vollmer, Max Vollmer, Jake Vaughn, KK Vaughn and his niece Pam Caruso and nephew Brad Vollmer. Beloved friends: Chris McCurter, Pat Trampe, Bob Guion, Tom Hadican and Darrel (Clancy) Morris and many, many more. Services: A memorial mass will be held at Most Holy Catholic Trinity Catholic Church, 3519 North 14th Street, St. Louis, MO 63107 on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Donations may be made to Most Holy Catholic Church.
I only knew Butch for a short 4 years. Indeed he loved his sports and literature and he did cherish family and friends. My deepest sympathy for the family and friends. May God give you all the peae and comfort you need in this time.
