Dana Marie Galovich
Dana Marie Galovich(Streicher), 60, passed away peacefully at Barnes Jewish Hospital on April 27th, 2022 at 1:08PM. She was a 9 year cancer survivor. In 2013, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and also retired from AT&T after 35 years. Later in 2018, she was diagnosed with MDS leukemia, which was followed by a stem cell transplant. On her 4th year anniversary of the stem cell transplant, she was again diagnosed with AML leukemia.
Dana was born in St. Louis to Richard(Dick) Streicher, and Patrica Streicher(Miller). Dana was the first born child of 4 children. Rich(Jan)Streicher, Eileen(Dave) Lance, and late James(Janet) Streicher.
On May 4th, 1985 she married the love of her life, and best friend, Michael G. Galovich. They were together for 45 years, married for almost 37 years. They have 3 beautiful children, oldest son Michael A. Galovich and twin daughters, Geena(Mike) Cole, and Laura Galovich. Dana loved spending time with her friends & family. Including her 4 grandchildren, Natalie, Vanessa, Malachi, and Nova.
Dana was a strong woman. Not only in her battle with cancer, but also very strong in her faith. She is forever loved and forever missed by many.
There will be a celebration of her life on Saturday May 14, 2022 at Gracelife Chapel(1 Victory Dr. Pevely, MO, 63070).
Visitation will be @ 10AM, with a service at 11AM. Lunch will be following the service.
