Daniel J. McLaughlin died peacefully on 09/16/2024 in Saint Louis, Missouri, at the age of 66 after a short, but hard-fought battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family. 

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Danielle Hyde (nee McLaughlin), her husband Josh, his granddaughter Averie (Saint Louis, MO) and his older brother Jeff (Tulsa, OK). His mother, Vera Anderson (Ferguson, MO) and his younger brother, Thomas McLaughlin (Ferguson, MO) preceded him in death. 

Daniel was an avid outdoorsman and a lover of all things nature. He was a kind and generous soul, and a friend to so many. He will be so very missed by all who loved him. 

A simple funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Ferguson, MO at a later date.
