Danny W Courtois

Danny was a loving Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He resided at 3342 Saint Joachim Lane in Saint Ann, Missouri 63074 where he has lived for 13 years. Dan passed away peacefully at his home with his family on November 2, 2023. Danny was born on May 11, 1955 to the late Walter L Courtois of St. Louis, MO and the late Berna Dean Colson Courtois of St. Louis, MO.

Danny married Kathy Mathis Courtois on March 4, 1974 in Jefferson County, MO and they have three children who grew up in St. Louis County, MO. He went to Ritenour School District which was in the Overland area in which he grew up in. He later joined the union and became a proud member of Local #110 Laborer’s Construction Trade, where he worked for 30 years.

He was employed by Wiess Drywall for many of those years and Retired in 2009. Dan had recently became a member of the MT Zion United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Masonic order of Demolay at the Overland Lodge Post #623. He loved to collect Hot Wheels and put model cars together. He was a collector of die cast cars, He loved Car shows, Cardinals Baseball and Kansas City Chiefs games. Dan also enjoyed duck hunting and the outdoors.

Dan loved to be with his family and grandkids. Those that knew him know he was a character and jokester. He had many stories to tell. Dan is Survived by his wife: Kathy Courtois of St. Ann, MO -His children: all of St. Louis Children: Jesse Courtois, Jeremy and Magan Courtois, Alisha Courtois and Tim Quartuccio. Sisters: Linda Courtois, Cindy Courtois, Karen Courtois Francis. Grandchildren: Jeremy, Courtois JR, Elly Courtois, Jaxon Courtois and Gino Mantia.

To honor his wishes, there will be no services at this time. However, a celebration of his life, will be announced at a later date for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to any of his favorite charities below:

American Heart Association, Make a Wish Foundation, or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.

    My brother, we are alike in many ways. I’m so glad that we became forever friends.It’s really hard Lon me losing you so fast. I know that you are free of pain and have all eternity to do the things you’ve been longing to do. I’m really going to miss you!! Love you my brother with all of my heart and soul.
