Darlene June Gillilan (nee Bollman)

Our beloved Darlene June Gillilan (nee Bollman) fell asleep with Jesus on December 30, at
87 years of age.

She was born to Albert and Verna (nee Brueggemann) Bollman and is
preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Allan and Vernon Bollman, and her sister-
in-law, Grace Bollman (nee Groh).

She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Ned Gillilan, her devoted children,
Kathy (John) Mack and Cindy (Steve) Wolf, her grandchildren, Steven (Cindy Ann) Wolf,
Amanda (Herb) Wolf, Rachel Wolf and Natalie Wolf, Kyle (Krista) Mack, Alexander (Mia)
Mack, Emily (Harnish) Mack Ayora and 14 great-grandchildren.

Darlene loved reminiscing and organizing her many photo albums and keepsakes, bird
watching and collecting birdhouses, traveling, and treasured time with her family and dear
friends.

Her beautiful and warm smile, gentle spirit, and love for Jesus will be remembered always.

Visitation will be at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 9907 Sappington Road, St. Louis,
MO 63128, 9:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
There will be a private Christian burial on Monday, January 9, at Jefferson Barracks
National Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Resurrection Lutheran Church, Animal Protective
Association, or Dementia Society of America.

    So sorry for your loss. Darlene was always so sweet and enjoyable to be with. May you find comfort that she is with Jesus! She and my Dad entered heaven’s glory on the same day.
