Darren Stidham

Darren Michael Stidham was born November 13, 1959 to the Union of Jennifer & Edward Stidham. He departed this Life May 28, 2014 at St Mary’s hospital in St Louis MO with His Family at his side.

He was the 2nd of (4) children. He was named Darren meaning “Great” Michael meaning “Who is Like God”. Darren attended St Louis Public Schools and Joined The U.S Marine Corp immediately after High School, and after finishing his term with the Marines he joined the U.S. Army and served several years. He was very proud of his Service to our country, and often told stories of his adventures during his service. He enjoyed reading, writing poems, Playing cards, and watching Football and movies.

On June 12, 2000 Nichole Payne gave birth to Darren’s only son Jared Cameron Stidham, this was the Proudest day of his life. Darren Loved his son and would talk about and show pictures of Jared to everyone that he knew and met. Darren was indeed a Proud Father.

Darren did not live his life for materialistic things, he lived for LOVE. He was a very friendly and loving person, and everyone that had the opportunity to meet Darren loved him. His family could always depend on Darren from babysitting his nieces and nephews to simply coming by and watching football, Darren was always there- He will be missed by ALL that knew him and loved him.

Darren is survived by his Mother Jennifer, his son Jared, His sisters Diane, Devalyn & Danielle, special brother-in-law Robert, Special love Nichole, special Uncle Lewis, best friends Mason & Talvin AND a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, cousins & other relatives and friends.

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

Service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery June 20,2014 @ 10:30 am, A memorial celebration in Darren’s honor will be held at 4632 Bessie Ave immediately following the service.

    WOW!! ME AND MY GOOD FRIEND GO A LONG WAY BACK. OMG!!! DID WE HAVE SOME GREAT TIMES, BE IT AT WORK OR PLAY,GOOD OR BAD THESE ARE THE MEMORIES I WILL HOLD ONTO IN THIS LIFE. I LOVE THIS FAMILY AND MY HEART IS HEAVY, DARREN WILL TRUELY BE MISSED.     Darren, I missed you the moment YOU left this earth!!! I will always remember you- I will miss watching football with you- I will miss talking to you and the special brother /sister bond we formed over the years!!!! MY heart is sad!!!!
