David Anthony Swengros

David Anthony Swengros passed away on Sunday, March 13th after his three year battle with liver cancer. Survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Augusta (Augie); children Michelle Swengros Jordan-Berndt (Colin) and Scott (Katie) Swengros; grandchildren Connor, Garrett, and Adrian Jordan and AJ and Ray Swengros; sister Sharon (John) Wotowa and many close relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Ray and Lillian Swengros and son, Robert Anthony (Robbie). David’s passion for music united him with CBS Records for 25 years which took him from Saint Louis to Atlanta and back home to continue in the music business. Faith, family, friends and his love of life were David’s core values. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to “The Friends of the SLU Liver Center,” 14323 S. Outer Forty Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63017 or “Leukemia and Lymphoma Society,” 1972 Innerbelt Business Center, St. Louis, MO 63114. The family would like to thank everyone involved in David’s care and the many people who prayed for him through his illness.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life with be held on April 2, 2016 at St. Catherine Laboure, 9740 Sappington Rd., St Louis, MO 63128 followed by a Celebration at Orlando Gardens, 2050 Dorsett Village Plaza, Maryland Heights, MO 63040.
