David (Dave) Allen Mueller, age 72, died on September 16, 2026, in Manchester, Missouri.

Born on September 28, 1953, Dave lived a life centered on family, service, and faith.  He served in the Marine Corp from 1971 to 1974.  He cared most about the right things in life, deeply loved his family and friends above all, and recognized how blessed he was to have them. 

Dave found enjoyment in painting, listening to religious podcasts, watching television shows and playing cards with his wife, and visiting with his kids and grandkids.  Those who knew Dave will remember the place his family held in his heart and the steady devotion he gave to them.  He was never afraid to love big and was always the life of the party.  He never knew a stranger.

Dave is survived by his wife, Cindy Mueller; his children, Trisha (Dan) O’Neill, Jon (Laura) Mueller, Mandy (Brian) Aylward, and Luke Mueller; his grandchildren, Avery, Sasha, Matthew, and Jack O’Neill, Jude, Claire, and Leo Mueller, and Grayson and Reid Aylward; and his dog, Mike. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Wilkenson and Elroy Mueller; his sister, Kathy Larkin; and his niece, Stacey Mitchell.

A Visitation will be held on October 9, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at Christ Prince of Peace Church in Manchester, Missouri, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.  A Burial will follow the Mass for immediate family members only.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Feeding America or Shriner’s Hospital.

Dave will be remembered with love by those he loved and by all who shared in his life.  He will be a welcome soul in Heaven and we will miss him greatly.
