David Edwin Clark

David Edwin Clark of St. Charles, MO passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the age of 79.

David worked as a dispatcher for a local trucking company for most of his career and he also proudly served our country in the United States Army. He had a love for hot rods as well as for cats and dogs. David was also a big Mustang enthusiast and an avid rare coin collector.

David was the dear son of the late Edwin Clark and the late Anne Clark (NEE: Brauer); devoted husband of Linda Clark; loving father of David “Chris” Clark; cherished grandfather of Ashley, David, Taylor and Dylon and great-grandfather of Brendan and Christian.

    Dave was the best dispatcher I had. He stood up for his drivers when others wouldn’t. Dave was old school. We all respected him very much.
    Dave, get a coke. We won’t forget you.

    Dave and I were pals as young teenagers in South St Louis in the early 60s. His brother Denny was one of us. I remember riding in his Moms 57 Ford and Daves 65 HiPo 65 Mustang. He loved that car. Dave was best man at my first marriage, a good friend. Lost touch as life unfolded.
