David Michael Sonnenschein
David Michael Sonnenschein, lovingly known as Stumpy, passed away Monday October 30th. He was 63.
Preceded in death by his wife, Katie; father, Ed; sister, Rene; sister-in-law Janice; and brother-in-law, Tim.
Survived by his mother, Dolores, brother Eddie, sisters Jane and Paula; step-children, nieces, nephews, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Per his wishes, David was cremated. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis, MO 63103, from 1:00-4:00 pm. Memorial arrangements in Annapolis are pending.

Sonny (papabear) will be deeply missed, he was like no other and even reminded me after all these years back in May I was still family no matter what.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all !! David was so special to me .. He was my first highschool sweetheart.! David always held a special place in my heart.And always will !! So many memories !! I seen David about 7 years ago while I was visiting st . Louis .. I am so glad we got to visit .. we talked about the good times and laughed and laughed .I will cherish all.the great memories .of David ..
David and I and our pal Charley Russo worked at Barnes Hospital as orderlies around late 1977-1979 period. David was a blast to work with. We used to ride around south St. Louis in Russo’s old blue 1948 roadmaster- quite a ride! Great memories.
