David S. Pohlman, of St. Louis, MO, died Tuesday, December 8th, 2020.

Beloved husband of Carol J. Pohlman (Helmsing); dearest father of Julie (Jeff) Steuber, Jackie (Tony) Lombardi; loving grandfather of Jeffrey, Jessica, Max, Sophia, Joel and Milo; dear brother of the late Roland “Bud” (Mary) Pohlman, and the late Nancy (the late Don) E. Duy; dear brother-in-law to Jeanette (the late John “Jack”) Gerfen, Ed (Susan) Helmsing and Steve (Tina) Helmsing. Cherished uncle and friend to many.

David attended the Missouri School of Mines in Rolla and graduated in 1959 with a BS degree in electrical engineering. He was in the Army Reserves for 8 years. His entire career was spent working for his family owned company, R.L. Pohlman Co. and he was also an active member of Precision Machine Products Association throughout this time.

He was an avid golfer and was a member of Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles, Missouri and Pelican Marsh Country Club in Naples, Florida, where they have resided for the last 20 years. He was an unbelievably patient, kind and honorable man; a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and uncle, and will be greatly missed.
