Dawn Marie Sullins
Dawn Marie Sullins passed from this life January 8, 2014; beloved daughter of Ruth Ellen Leach and Phillip Roger Sullins, and stepmother Snow C. Sullins; also survived by her beloved twin brothers, Phillip Jason Sullins & Roger Mason Sullins, loving aunts, uncles, cousins and a joy to many.
Dawn dearly enjoyed cats. She was passionate about Elvis Presley, George Strait, and Michael Jackson. Dawn loved life and people and chose to be an organ and tissue donor. She also truly loved the color pink. She worked for many years at several sheltered workshops, e.g. The Projects, Valley Industries, & Boone Center.
Those of us left behind will always remember Dawn’s wonderful smile, her tremendous dedication to her “business” making pot holders, latch hooks, etc. She was always two months ahead of all of us with her Christmas shopping. She loved everyone she met and they loved her back.
The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at St. Joachim & Ann Church (http://www.stsja.org/site/) on 4112 McClay in St. Charles, MO 63304 with a Mass following at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to ARC http://www.slarc.org/.
My sweet baby girl I love you for ever, and will miss you so much. Love Mom
No words can be said to ease your pain. But when you think of Dawn and her smile know that it is even bigger now as she looks at the face of God. (and Elvis and Micheal)
Dawn, I will truly miss you call that I got every day from you! Love, Aunt Dorothy
Dawn,
You will always be in my heart. You were one of sweetest person I ever knew, you always had a smile for everyone and a pleasure to be with.
You will truely be missed.
Love Debbie
I will miss you and Uncle Neal teasing each other every chance you two had.
I will miss your laughter it was so contagious. Your calling in the late morning and trying to get me out of bed. “Is that all you do is sleep?”
You sure did look great in your Pink 3D Kitty Cat T-shirt. Neal said he was so proud of her for the last 6 months she quite calling him ornery.
Dawn was working very hard at improving herself and was doing better than the rest of us…………..
We will miss and love you forever.
Aunt Rose & Uncle Neal
