Our dear mother, Debie B. Niffenegger passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on June 5th, 2023.

Debie was born on August 17th, 1938 in Pecos, Texas to Stanley Debs Pattillo and Almarine (Coleman) Pattillo. She is survived by her brother, Xanthus Pattillo.

She received a degree in elementary education in 1960 from Texas Tech University. She married Ralph Niffenegger several months later on July 8th of the same year. The two celebrated 62 years of marriage.

Debie had three children: Renée (Tom) Montgomery, Jon Bryan Niffenegger, and Regal (David) Green. She also had six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She worked many years as a real estate agent. She worked with her husband at Embassy Architectural Woodworking until they retired in 2011. Debie enjoyed china and watercolor painting with her many friends in her retirement.
