Although she worked a few places in her lifetime home and family were her achievements. She loved visiting with her siblings and their families. She was an avid reader, loved shopping, thrifting, and old movies. She could sketch a picture and sew a dress. She had a sweet tooth and could produce some delicious pies and cakes. She could be determined and stubborn. She was generous and giving. She could be clever and funny and turn a phrase that would make you laugh.

She is greatly loved and will be missed.

If you would like to pay tribute to her; say a prayer, raise your glass, plant a tree, donate to your favorite charity, pay it forward in her name. When all is said and done, she wanted you to be happy.

This is a lovely tribute to your mom. I remember when you were very little and you all came to our house. I was tossing you up in the air and you were laughing like crazy. Your mom was scared but couldn’t remember my name and started yelling” You, girl, put her down!” Some memories!

The year I lived with Grandma H. was the best. She got me hooked on Harlequin Romance novels, but not the risqué ones, she liked “the old fashioned ones with the proper ladies in them”. She spoiled all of her grandchildren and my favorite doll was one she bought me from Goodwill. It didn’t have any clothes so Grandma sewed a beautiful little red dress for it by hand. It was so special to me I kept it and gave it to me daughter when she was little. I pray that she is reunited with all the family and friends that passed before her and for peace for those she left behind.

So sorry for your loss, Stephanie and family. She survived so many of her children, just a sweet lady.
