Dear Mom,
Words cannot express the pain I feel losing you. We grew up together, and you were always my biggest supporter through every stage of my life. More than a mother, you were my best friend. You left us far too soon, and I wish more than anything I could have had one last chance to say goodbye.
I hope you always knew how much you were loved and appreciated. I hope I made you feel cared for, safe, and proud. Life feels so different already because we talked every single day, and I don’t know how to fill that space without you.
Thank you for teaching me the value of hard work, strength, and perseverance. Everything I am today is because of you. Without you giving me life, I would never have had my beautiful children, Charleigh and Gavin, who loved their grandma so very much. I promise to take care of them and to always look after Samantha.
You carried so much through this life, and it brings me peace knowing you are finally free from pain. I know you will continue watching over all of us every day.
I will miss your voice, your love, your guidance, and your presence more than words can ever say.
Until the day we meet again, I love you always and forever.
— Your Son,
Patrick
I really enjoyed the short time i knew Denise. She was such a sweet lady. She will be missed. Sending love and prayers.
Denise was truly a caring person. I had the pleasure of working with her at Schnucks. She loved her family and friends very much. If you knew Denise you know how big her heart was, she’d do anything for you. Denise will be missed very much. Fly high Denise. I’ll always love you.
Denise, it was a great pleasure knowing you. You were a very caring and sweet lady with a very big heart. You only wanted the best for everyone around you. You had a deep love for your children and that showed. You created a wonderful son who shares in your big heart. You will be greatly missed. You are in a better place with none of the worries or stresses of the world.
I only new Denise through Patrick. What little time I knew her I saw how much she loved being a mother and grandmother. I know she will be truly missed.
Denise, my grandma, was one of the most caring people in the world. She always talked about her daily life every time I saw her, and I was one of the people she opened up to. She smiled every time she saw me. I loved the memories me and my grammy shared, like how we loved looking at the one-star Schnucks reviews around Missouri at 10 PM, and laughing so hard at them we were out of breath. Another time, I saw that we were out of batteries, and asked to go get more for a remote at 12 AM. Even though there was no sense in it, we had a fun time. She loved watching these crime shows when she was off work, and, every once in a while, I would join her. Overall, she was so awesome in every way, and we had fun together every time I saw her. I love you, Grammy, and we all will miss you. ❤
Grammie I miss you so much. I know in recent years we haven’t spent as much time together as I would have liked. But whenever we did see eachother we were constantly laughing and smiling. You always gave me advice when I needed it, we would vent about our jobs, stupid customers or coworkers, which always made us laugh. You taught me to never give up, even when it’s hard. I think about you all the time, it’s really hard without you here. I know you’re watching over all of us. I love you Grammie. ❤️
I met Denise through Schnucks about 10 yrs. ago. Through the years we became best friends. She wasn’t just a co worker, she was my sister! We shared lots of laughs, as well as tears. There’s nothing we couldn’t tell each other. I will cherish our friendship forever. Thanks for being The Best Cat Sitter ever. Fly high Denise! No.more living with the pain of MS. Until we meet again ny dear friend

Dear Denise,
Although I only knew you for a short while, you were such a delight to be around and had such a caring heart. You welcomed Charlie, Ranger and I with open arms and were so loving and understanding.
Ranger took to you so quickly and always wanted to spend time with you! He knew you needed some extra love.
We all miss you here. The boys still look for you and the house will never be the same.
We pray for you each night before bed and will continue to do so.
Im grateful you aren’t in pain or stress and are with our Lord and Savior. May God bless and keep you in His care.
Momma🩷🌺🦋
You are my everything.
You blessed my life from the moment I was conceived.
You planted seeds of love and beauty in Patrick and I that live on beyond space and time.
Every beautiful flower I pass I see and feel your spirit.
I feel peace knowing that now you feel true serenity, joy and love which was always my greatest wish for you. I just wish we could have had more time together. You touched my life so deeply and not a day will go by where your not in my heart and thoughts.
Thank you for being my mom and giving me the gift of knowing unconditional love.
I had the privilege of knowing Denise for the past 4 years, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed.
She was my assistant for a time—and truly one of the best assistants I ever had. She was one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever known. No matter what was going on, she showed up and gave everything she had. She always had my back. Even after she was promoted to Seafood Manager, that never changed. If I was on vacation or out sick, she stepped in without hesitation and made sure things were taken care of.
She gave so much of herself to her work and to the people around her—often putting others before herself. Life was not always easy on her, and she carried more than most people knew. Even while battling MS and other health issues, she kept showing up every day and giving 100%, even when her body was asking her to rest.
That strength, loyalty, and work ethic is something I will always admire about her.
She will be deeply missed by so many, especially her children, Sam and Patrick, and her grandson whom she loved so much.
I feel lucky to have known her, to have worked beside her, and to have called her my friend. Rest peacefully—you will not be forgotten.
