Dennis Frank Joseph Kay

December 10, 1941 ~ September 29, 2018

Fortified by the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Saturday September 29, 2018. Beloved husband of Charlotte Wiley Kay, of 43 years. He is survived by his stepchildren, Thomas Bevolo (Terrah Sims) and their 4 children, John, Michael, Niah and Noah; and Gina Stocker (Jeffery), and their sons Justin and Derik (Courtney and their son Chase) and also his sons Dennis, David and Daniel Kay (Marybeth and their son Russell). His daughter Diane Kay has passed away.

Dennis was a policeman in the Gaslight Square era, had a degree in Accounting from SIUE and a law degree from St. Louis University. He loved the policeman’s job best because he said he was able to help people the most. He was also in the Navy at the start of the Vietnam War. He learned to fly a small plane and loved gadgets, traveling and camping.

He died after a long illness.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Drive in Fenton, MO on October 27, Saturday, at 11:00AM. Since Dennis has been cremated, there will be no viewing or graveside service., Internment will be at the Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Paralyzed Veterans of America or the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated.
