Dennis Robert Edney Sr.
Dennis Robert Edney Sr. passed away at home on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the age of 73.
He was born in St. Louis, MO, on April 29, 1952.
He was predeceased by his father, John; mother, Norma; and uncles Don Edney, Dale Meyer, Roger Taylo, and Richard Morrow.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Janice Kassman Edney.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Jennifer Viehoefer (Mike); son, Dennis Edney Jr. (Brittany); stepdaughters, Jennifer Burton (Jason) and Melissa Harrison (James); grandchildren, Hayden, Austin, Turner, Evelyn, Harrison, Griffin, Stephen, Samuel, Sabrina, Lillian, Chase, and Ryan; and siblings, John (Terri), Diane, Stephen (Diane), and Lisa.
Dennis worked in plumbing for 30 years. His hobbies included scuba diving, boating, being a proud member of the Elks for 33 years, spending time in Crystal City, and lifelong scrap collecting. He also enjoyed playing cards with his buddies.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dennis was a good plumber and friend. We had a lot of good times and memories . He will be missed.
He was a great Uncle. Always there to help when you needed him. He would haul off your old scrap or help you with a plumbing problem. One of a kind for sure!
