Diane Delunas

Diane Kathryn DeLunas, 70, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on March 25, 2026. Born on August 2, 1955, in St. Louis, Diane was a lifelong resident of the city she always called home. Diane was, above all else, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family and friends was the center of her world. Diane also had a deep love for animals, cherishing her pets and showing kindness to every creature she encountered. Those who knew her understood that her warmth extended not just to the people in her life but to all living things.

She is survived by her children, Andrew C. DeLunas, Erin F. DeLunas (Lisa DeLunas), and Deanna R. DeLunas; as well as her grandchildren Veronica Lake, Alaina Spraggins (Ricky Spraggins), Chase DeLunas, Brent DeLunas, and Alex DeLunas. As well as her great grandchildren Ashton Spraggins, and Raina Spraggins. Her family and friends will remember her as a steadfast source of love and humor.
A memorial service to celebrate Diane’s life will be held at St. Louis Cremation, 2135 Chouteau Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103, on Friday, April 3, 2026, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
As Diane’s loved ones gather to honor her memory, they take comfort in the familiar words of Psalm 23: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Diane will be missed very much. We knew each other for many years. She & I & another friend of ours, Selena, had many good times together & shared countless memories. Oh my, the stories we could tell. I believe we’ll share again one day.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I remember lots of great memories with her. I haven’t seen her in a few years but I have never forgotten her especially going shopping days with her when I was a teenager. She will be missed.
